Do you eat bell peppers as a hand fruit? Or sliced in chunks, but still on their own? Or only in a salad or cooked dish? Years ago I would eat peppers (alone) in my lunch at work, like slices of pear, except it was pepper. That was considered quite strange by my colleagues… recently I saw my oldest son eating one whole, as a snack. Is it just us? #bellpepper #peppers #redpeppers #peppersnack #crunchysnack #refreshingsnack #freshsnack #veggiesnack #veggiesforsnacks

We call this cinnamon apples. This photo shows the first step: some butter in a pan, sliced apple, and cinnamon. Covered and simmered, the juices will cook out and make a sweet sauciness in the bottom of the pan. If the pan seems too dry after cooking a few minutes, add a splash of juice. My kids usually ask for it alongside pancakes or waffles, but I’d argue it should go on ice cream, tasting like pie a la mode. Just, you know, minus the pie. #applesandcinnamon #cinnamonapple #pancaketoppings #easydessert #imakeitformykids
