Breakfast these days is a rush of smoothies, cereal, avocado bread, pancakes, or cheese melted on a croissant. But on our holiday this past summer, breakfast looked like on this: fruit yogurt with fresh berries (note the fancy dish!) and froot loops with a little pitcher of milk, all served on a paper doiley-covered plate. Fancy! (Breakfast sandwich in the background) Also, we were breakfasting in the sun, on the second storey patio overlooking a golf course and winding river. Not watching the wind blowing snow outside the window, and tripping over backpacks and mittens!
