What is it about grilling crusty bread into toast that makes it so delicious?
Its one of my favourite things to eat from the grill.
I made some the other night for dinner, or rather, as part of the dinner. But a big part, because everyone wants to eat a lot of slices.
Coarse, crusty bread – not too thinly sliced.
Briefly grilled: more than simply warmed up, so it is toasted with some char marks. Yet it takes less time than you might think. Drizzled with olive oil and a good sprinkle of sea salt.
So delicious. With salad and cheese it could be my dinner. I think it may have been, actually.
