Recently I was at my sister’s and we were cooking together. When she finished with the peas she just twisted the top of the package and tossed it back in the freezer. Actually, I would toss it in the freezer, she put the bag in nicely. But she didn’t put a twist tie or any other closure on the bag.
And I don’t think I usually do, either. But I normally have frozen peas in the freezer (where else?) for frittata and risotto. So sometimes, if I’ve taken the extra 3 seconds to open the bag nicely, I tie it with itself.

Do you ever do this? Or just twist, and toss?
Your Gramma Coletta used to do this — tie it with a piece of the bag itself — maybe you inherited it!
